If you are planning to write a book in Latin for the Tar Heel site, it might pay to have a quick look over the Beginning Literacy Framework, as much of this applies to Latin as well as English.
Indeed, it is an area Latin teachers are probably, for the most part, not that keyed into, as our students on't ten to be the ones who struggle to read at all.
