Home School - Traditional classical education with Greek and Latin in grade school levels as well as high school levels.

It has many programs related to the Catholic church and its use of Latin, AND it also has MANY programs related to classical Rome . Download some of these, add the RSS feed.

None. Pencil, Pen are used until high school level is reached. We run Enterprise Linux. Though each child has their own laptop from age eight.

My Goal - Latin Tools for Redhat, SUSE, Ubuntu Linux

I will search for and provide links to Open Source , Linux operating system tools for learning Latin. There are several packages for the Windows platform. My goal will be to find , and /or create Latin language tools that are compatible with or designed for Linux OS platform.

Why:

A Linux server is stable and less expensive to operate and maintain.
Asia, EU, South America etc... as well as 30 million in NA all run Linux.

YES, Reginald Foster is marvelous!!! One of my former students has studied quite some time in Rome and reports glowingly of all that he does there (she's actually in the process of joining a Carthusian order in France now). We're so lucky to have some of Father Foster online too, for those of us not lucky enough to be in Rome! :-)

I was intrigued by your blog posts, Eric, and from your page here I found my way to the Kolbe.org website. That is something new to me, and I thought it was very informative and inspiring. Although I am not Catholic myself, one of my own personal interests in studying Latin is the religious tradition conveyed and expressed in Latin. Best wishes to you in all your work! :-)
