About Me:

I took a break between high school Latin and college Latin and tried many , many other jobs, but Latin called me back to teach. I've been here in Fauquier County for fifteen years and consider myself very lucky to have learned from some of the best, especially Betty Merrill, Diane Hatch and Robert Boughner. I love what I teach and where I teach, and most of the students I teach. Being the only Latin teacher in my school, I get to know them over several years and that's a real plus, or minus depending on our connection!

I try to use the computer as little as possible in class, therefore these (good or bad) rarely occur. Technology is an asset to, not a replacement for, teaching.
