About Me:
Born & raised in Fresno, CA. I now live with my fiancée, from Sweden. I come from an educated middle-class home, my dad was (body & spirit, still together, thank god, same w/ my mother) was a highschool teacher & part-time college-instructor. From 1973 to 1989, he served on the Fresno City-Council, the last 4 years, '85-'89, as mayor. I have an older sister. I had an extremely wonderful & loving home.
I am both an urbane bookworm & a rugged, rough-&-tumble mountainman-type. Besides, the classics, I love Indo-European, focusing on Germanic & PGmc, Ingvaeonic, NGmc philology, studies, anthropology. Also love mountains, I am an avid (ultralight-weight backpacker/thru-hiker. Get Ray Jardine's book on lightweight backpacking. Also, I am in to nuclear-weapons history, nuclear eschatology, nuclear physics, political science, history, global risk-assessment (I like to follow Nick Boström, MS, MA, PhD, philosophy prof. at Oxford), probability-statistics for existential "Black-Swan" events, such as nuclear war, asteroid-, comet-, meteor-strikes & other NEO's "near-earth objects", catastrophic volcanic/tectonic events, pandemics, and possible manmade existential threats [besides nuclear war & power], e.g., nanotechnology, artificial intelligence "AI", 'where machines becomes master', like in "Colossus, the Forbin Project", 1970 & Hal in "2001: A Space Odyssey", 1968. I also am a climate-skeptic, a cynic, a libertarian, anti-one-global government, have serious questions about 911 and I know that Islamic terrorist-events are either false-flag events orchestrated by hidden rogue elements in several governments & institutions.
On the lighter side, I have a loving, beautiful fiancée, a great cat and a new husky.
