- I have been seduced by the structure and economy of Latin in the last 3 years or so despite it having made no sense at all to me when I studied it at school for a year. Some people love Sudoku, Latin does it for me! I am teaching myself from a variety of sources/courses, most of them quite 'old school', quirky and definitely eccentric with some slightly sinister homo erotic undertones! Despite the slightly surreal content sometimes, the pace of introduction of new grammar/syntax seems to suit me better than something like Cambridge Latin. As a self learner, I am always in need of resources/back up, but I also hope I might be able to be of help to others in a similar situation.
