- I took 2 years of Latin in high school 55 years ago. I think I've used it more than most of the things I I studied. Now in my 70s I'm started again purchasing a number of books hoping to find something to help along my solo studies. I've fixed on Familia Romana which I've been reading aloud to myself for some time. What I wish more than anything is that there was a Pimsluer style set of recordings I could study to help me learn to speak.
