More wired than a Roman Internet café

Hi everyone,

Rosetta Stone, maker of the award-winning language learning software, is seeking Latin speakers to record some language data online. It seemed like some members of your group would be interested in particpating! You will be asked to record yourself reading basic sentences aloud; it's a nice opportunity to practice spoken Latin AND get $25 for it!! The data that is collected will be used to help enhance speech recognition technology and to better understand the sounds a Latin learner produces.

It takes about one hour to complete the recordings and each person will be compensated with a $25 payment sent via PayPal. Participants must be at least 18 years old (or have parental approval).

Anyone who is interested should visit our website at https://speech.rosettastone.com, create an account and do the recordings online. It’s best if they can use a headset with a microphone to record themselves.

Your help in posting or forwarding this notice to any interested parties is greatly appreciated.

Please let me know if you have any questions!
