Robert Welch University New Classical Civ, Lit and Language Courses Online Sept 13.
Robert Welch University is excited to announce our first ever Classics courses in English which will be available online starting Thursday September 13 for 6 weeks. No knowledge of Latin or Greek is required.
It is a dream come true for those of us who work there because we are accustomed to running our usual Liberal Arts program with a small amount of Latin and Greek on the side and the occasional Hebrew and Arabic course. To be able to finally offer what we are passionate about is like finding the Holy Grail.
Dr. Bridget Reeves will be teaching Introduction to Classical Literature and eClassics member and Moodle man extraordinaire Dr. Shawn Graham will be presenting his Roman Civilization course complete with wikis, You Tube videos and computer game scenarios. It promises to be a session to remember.
We are also able to offer classes for even 1 student if anyone is interested in any level of Latin, Attic Greek, Arabic, Biblical or Modern Hebrew. A special discount will be made available for users of this site. Please contact me if you are interested and I will help you register quickly and get textbooks. Dr. Graham is also able to assist with any questions.
Please mention this to any of your high school students as well. We have no age requirement at RWU and many of our students are in high school taking courses for advanced credit. We hope to see you at RWU soon.
