More wired than a Roman Internet café

This video, produced by Minnetonka Public Schools (Minnesota), explores all of the features in Blackboard that are being used in grade schools. These features include podcasts, digital drop-boxes, iPod exports, and more. If you are using Bloackboard (or Moodle, Desire2Learn, etc.), see how much of these programs you are actually using and then explore how to integrate the technology into your classes to benefit your students. The potential for language learning with course management tools like Blackboard et alii is staggering -- it's not just for managing grades and assignments!

I'm using blackboard on the student side of things in an MA class I'm taking. It's fairly easy to use, and from the sounds of this video has a lot of potential. The key, with all technology in the classroom (or out of the classroom), is, of course, to think through what impact it will have on the broader scale, not just narrow features.
