Profile Information

Hometown/Institution:
Bicol University, Legazpi City, Philippines
Role in the Classics Classroom (real or virtual):
all of the above
About Me:
I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), a graduate of Philosophy, a former theologian seminarian, a former college associate professor, and a book (text/reference) author. I obtained my Master of Arts in Education (M.A. Ed.), in Guidance and Counseling at the Universidad De Santa Isabel (U.S.I.), Naga City, Philippines, in 2003. At present, I am pursuing Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D.) at the Bicol University (B.U.), Legaspi City, where I am also on the process of writing my doctoral dissertation. My first book, Health Care Ethics - a college textbook for nursing, medicine, and other health care-related courses - published in 2007 by the C&E Publishing, Inc. has just been revised in its new title, Bio-Ethics in Health Care Practice. My second book, Ethics for Educators – a college textbook for teacher-education and educators in all areas of discipline – was published in 2011 by the same publishing company.

Currently, I am involved in two new book projects: Moral Philosophy and Science, Technology and Society along with research and lecturing. Next school year, I will continue and finish my Master of Arts in Theology, major in Moral Theology. I am inclined to learn more about Latin. I first encountered it when I was inside the seminary.
