Profile Information

Hometown/Institution:
University of Texas, Austin
Role in the Classics Classroom (real or virtual):
all of the above
About Me:
My name is Will, and I am beginning a PhD program in Classical Languages at the University of Texas, Austin. I will also be a Teaching Assistant for Classical Mythology. I'm always looking for opportunities in the digital humanities, and I am planning on specializing in Archaic Greek Poetry and Greek Religion. I would also like to become involved in cultural heritage preservation.
My Website:

Favorite on-line spots for the Classics:
I love rogueclassicism.com. I'm also the administrator of my grammar/culture blog http://tabulasdiscipulosquecano.blogspot.com.
Favorite on-line spots for education:
For now, my only experience has been tinkering with search tactics on Perseus- it was indispensable when I was in the thick of my senior thesis.
Best/worst computer-related classroom happening:
I've had the pleasure of working at the Center for Hellenic Studies twice- once for a presentation at the Undergraduate Research Conference in December 2012 and once for the Homer Multitext Project during the summer of 2013. Their grasp on technology is fantastic.
