I am almost done with the Grant and the officer paragraph as well. You should have the both by Wednesday. Thank you for all of your input and advice. I have found the listserve to be EXTREMELY helpful (though I think I may have caused problems). And I am really enjoying NING. Hope all is well.

Pax,

Matthew

Excellence Through Classics is a subcommittee of the American Classical League for elementary, middle school and introductory Classics programs. The ETC sponsors the National Mythology Exam (NME- designed for grades 3-9) and the Exploratory Latin Exam (ELE-designed for grades 3 - 6).

The deadline for registration for the NME is January 15th. The exam must be administered anytime between February 25 - March 7. The exam includes Greek and Roman mythology. The theme for this year is Theseus. Awards are Gold, Silver, and Bronze medallions imported from Italy. The National Association of Secondary School Principals has placed the NME on the NASSP National Advisory List of Contests and Activities for 2007-2008.

The deadline for the ELE is March 1, 2008. This exam for grades 3-6 must be administered before April 1st.
Awards are certificates and participation ribbons.

For more information on the exams, please visit the American Classical League's Excellence Through Classics website at etclassics.org.
