I have big ears, but I cannot hear the Aeneid Book One recording below, even when clicking on the blue arrow (link shows up in status bar). What am I doing wrong?

Aha, got it! this ning space is a great way to collect those kinds of materials, of course - hearing how different people read Latin is always interesting! :-)

WOW, Paul, the audio sounds really great. I listened to the Catullus poem and to the Aeneid. Wonderful! I am curious what software you are using to record the audio. Your voice sounds really good, so clear, and easy to listen to. I wish my voice sounded that good - you guys with the deep voices are so lucky; your voice is very attention-getting! Nice! Are you planning to go on to teach Latin?

I haven't uploaded any audio to ning.com (although I've been blogging here for about a year) - but I immediately was prompted to come listen to your audio because of the really nifty way it showed up in the RSS feed - I was able to click right on the audio clips from inside my Bloglines feed reader! I don't know if you use a feed reader, so I've included a screenshot here to show you how it gets shared with people via RSS. That's fantastic!!!
:-)
