Profile Information

Hometown/Institution:
NC, USA
Role in the Classics Classroom (real or virtual):
all of the above
About Me:
I'm boring. I teach. I go home. I care for my baby. Then, I go to bed and wake up the next day and do it all again. In my spare time (If I find some), I like to learn...anything.
Favorite on-line spots for the Classics:
Perseus; Nationalarchives.gov.uk; anything that has notes for whatever I am looking at currently; the Latin Library
Favorite on-line spots for education:
Youtube; Harvard via edx; anything I can find Edx has some great classes; I really like "Justice" by Michael Sandel. It's a Harvard course online.
Best/worst computer-related classroom happening:
Last week, I had student write, "I hate this fucking assignment," in the discussion forum. It was a little disconcerting. Does that count?
